Somon Air received a certificate of successful completion of the IOSA renewal audit (IATA Operational Safety Audit). The certificate is valid until March 20, 2026. Passing IOSA audit gives airlines the status of a safe international air carrier. In 2003, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) launched the IOSA Operational Safety Audit.
Today, IOSA is a global industry standard for airline operational safety auditing, designed to assess the safety management system, quality assurance, and process management in all operational areas of an airline. Its completion is proof of the airline’s readiness and desire to continuously improve its flight safety processes. Passing this most difficult audit for any airline is a great professional achievement, global recognition and trust. IATA member airlines must prove their compliance with the high standards of civil aviation every two years; this is a mandatory requirement for membership in the association.
Today Somon Air successfully operates flights from Tajikistan to Germany, UAE, Turkey, China, India, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The fleet of the airline consists of Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 aircraft.
