SOMON AIR COMPLETED FIRST PHASE OF “HAJJ-2019” PROGRAM

Somon Air completed the first phase of the «Hajj-2019» program. During this program the airline carried 3,750 pilgrims from three cities of Tajikistan – Dushanbe, Khujand and Kulob to Jeddah. The first flight of the State program «Hajj-2019» began on July 22. The last flight was on August 2, on the route Dushanbe-Jeddah.

In all the airline operated 24 flights – 3 from Khujand, 2 from Kulob and 19 from Dushanbe. The second phase from Jeddah to the cities of Tajikistan will begin on August 21 with the Jeddah-Dushanbe flight.

Somon Air currently operates flights from Tajikistan to Germany, the UAE, Turkey, China, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The fleet is comprised of Boeing 737-300, -800 and -900. Somon Air became an IATA member in 2017.
