SOMON AIR MANAGEMENT HELD A MEETING WITH DELEGATION OF AVIC INTL COMPANY

Today, at the Somon Air office, a meeting was held between the airline's management and a delegation of AVIC INTL (AVIC International Holding Corporation) of the People's Republic of China, headed by Gao Qi, Director of Marketing and Sales Division, Asia & Pacific. Options and ways of financing the transaction for the purchase of the Y-12E aircraft were discussed in case of interest from Somon Air. The airline's management noted the need to obtain a detailed commercial proposal on this issue. As a result of the meeting, the parties decided to start analyzing the compliance of the technical, economic and commercial characteristics of this project and continue negotiations in the medium term.

The Y12 aircraft are light multi-purpose high-performance aircraft manufactured by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC). The Y12 aircraft has 18-20 seats and can carry out cargo and passenger transportation.

Currently, Somon Air successfully operates flights on its Boeing 737-800 and 737-900 fleet from Tajikistan to Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, China, India, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and return.
